Spurs came home to St Monans to play Glenrothes in this competitive friendly. The opening spell belonged to Spurs as they penned in Glens, but could not turn the pressure in to goals. Glenrothes came more into the game in the second period & scored the only goal of the game when a Glens corner was played into a packed box & put away by an unmarked Glens striker. In the third period the away team got a grip of midfield & had two great chances to increase their lead but couldn't take them. Spurs did make several openings of their own, but could not make the breakthrough.
