Spurs were missing several key players for this friendly, but competed well in the first half, and were unlucky to lose two goals just before the break, the first goal shouldn't have stood as Barclay in goal had gathered the ball but was booted in the head before the ball was forced into the net.
Spurs needed a goal to get back in the game, but it was St Johns who scored within a minute of the second half to lead 3.0. Spurs heads were now down and a few of the Spurs players were just going through the motions . As the Spurs team collapsed St Johns turned the match into shooting practise, eventually winning 8.0

Fife cup
Spurs have a home tie in the 1st round of the fife cup when they face Fair city.
Tie to be played on Sunday the 8th of Nov. Winners of this match will have a home tie in the 2nd round against Scone Thistle on the 15th Nov.
