Spurs picked up all three points in this re-arranged league match at Glenrothes. Spurs took time too settle in to their game, with Rothes looking the most dangerous in the early stages, the Spurs defence dealing with the early pressure. Spurs began to put some passes together & took the lead through striker Dignan who latched on to a through ball & finished well. Boosted by the goal Spurs pushed forward going close on several occasions to increasing their lead before Dignan scored number two, another good ball to the striker & he raced clear of the defence before scoring with a powerful shot. Murray then made it three for the Spurs with a tidy finish after a Rutherford cross. Rothes pulled a goal back in the second period after they scored via a deflection from a free kick at the edge of the box. Rutherford restored Spurs three goal cushion, a Leitch shot was parried by the keeper but Rutherford was following up to blast the rebound into the net. Spurs then remained strong to see out the remainder of the game .
